Summer produce season is in full swing here in the Niagara region, and what better way to celebrate than with a fresh and delicious Peach Salsa with Fresh Mint? It’s a delicious blend of flavours featuring sweet peaches, acidic tomatoes, herbaceous mint and peppery red onion.

Peaches: A Glow from the Inside Out

Peaches aren’t just delicious; they are a powerhouse of vitamins like A, C, and E. Here’s what they offer for your skin and overall health:

  • Vitamin A aids in skin repair, promoting a smooth complexion.
  • Vitamin C is a collagen booster, helping keep skin firm and youthful.
  • Fibre in peaches supports gut health, keeping things moving and aiding in detoxification.

Mint: Freshness for Your Body

Mint, the cool and refreshing herb, is more than a flavor enhancer:

  • Menthol offers anti-inflammatory benefits, helping soothe irritation in both your skin and digestive system.
  • Antioxidants aid in detox, freeing your body from unwanted toxins.
  • Hormonal Helper By supporting bile flow, mint can assist in balancing those tricky hormones.
